He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible/Youth and Family Ministry from Lipscomb University and a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. Tim is also a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Tim has provided counseling services in a variety of settings, including college counseling centers, inpatient behavioral health facilities, and residential treatment centers. He especially enjoys working with teenagers, college students, and young adults dealing with a variety of problems, and has an extensive history of working with this population. His areas of special interest include, but are not limited to:
*Abuse and Trauma Related Issues
*Pre-marital and Marital Counseling
*Mood and Anxiety Disorders
* Family Issues
He works from a relationship-centered, systemic perspective and believes that healing occurs in the context of relationships. By looking through social, biological, and psychological lenses, his goal is that all clients will find true peace and freedom in their lives.
